As part of the task force’s efforts to remain diligent in disseminating all updates issued by the relevant local, state, national and global public health authorities about the virus, I write today to share that Governor Kemp and the Georgia Department of Public Health issued a joint press release earlier this week confirming the state’s first known cases of the coronavirus disease in Fulton County, Georgia.
